Ordinary People. Extraordinary God.

In this six-week series, we’ll explore the lives of ordinary people whom God used in extraordinary ways. As we journey through their stories, we’ll be reminded that God is still working through us today. Our hope is that by the end of this series, we will be confident that God can do great things through each of us when we choose to follow Him in faith.

Week 1

This week, Pastor Rob Brower kicks off our "Ordinary People. Extraordinary God." series by looking at the Hebrew midwives in Exodus. When faced with a choice between fearing Pharaoh or remaining faithful to God, they chose faithfulness—even at great personal risk.

We also get the opportunity to hear from guest speaker, Mary Tipps Smith, Executive Director of Options Pregnancy Clinic.

Week 2

This week, Pastor Rob Brower continues our series, "Ordinary People. Extraordinary God." looking at Obadiah, whose story reminds us that God calls us to stand firm and serve Him, even in difficult places. Join us as we learn how to live faithfully in a faithless world.

Week 3

This week, Pastor Rob Brower continues our series, "Ordinary People. Extraordinary God.", looking at Ruth—a Moabite woman who became part of the lineage of Jesus. Her story reminds us that God redeems our past, welcomes the outsider, and uses unexpected people to accomplish His plans.

Pastor Rob Brower's message was about how John the Baptist was an ordinary man God used to prepare the world for Jesus and like John the Baptist, God wants us to prepare the way for people to receive his Son.

Pastor Rob Brower talks to us about how Simon and his brother Andrew dropped everything without hesitation to follow Jesus. God uses any people who will surrender their lives and follow him.

Pastor John Benshoof wrapped up the sermon series talking about Apostle Paul and how Paul wanted the Corinthians to remember that God’s generosity toward them was not based on where they came from or who they were.
